Wow. Everyone wants to create their own fonts.
The programs below will help you do that, but be careful! Font
creation is extremely addictive! Instead of just passing along
these links, let me also give you a couple of pointers to follow
while you attempt to create your own alphabets.
- DON'T leave the designing to the
pros! Be creative and have fun - the alphabet belongs to all of
us!
- DO practice, practice, practice.
I've seen dozens of great designers start with rather
shaky fonts. Take your time and keep on trying.
- DON'T go overboard. After you get
the technique down, try to develop your skills by slowing down
and really taking time to be creative.
- DO share your fonts with others!
Whether you ask for money or just give them away, be proud!
- And why not submit
them to be featured at FontFace? I may just like them enough to
give them the highest honor of Font of the Day!

of font creation tools. This is the oldest of the

widely available shareware creation program, and is used

worth taking a look at.
